In the ealy seventies. I stopped skater several years and when I came back on the ice I started to dance and passed all my dance tests as well in Belgium as in Britain. In Belgium I have been coached by Philippe Neyrink and later I skated with Corey Lapaige. In Britain I regularly skate with Jason Blomfield in Slough, I went also several times to Jimmy Young to get his professional advice. - As a dancer At 6 I started rhythmic dance at the ballet school from Martha Roggen in Brussels. 3 years later, I went over to classic ballet . During 14 years, I went to the Karys Dance Center (ex dancer from the Maurice Béjart Ballet du XXème Siècle). I've also tought by Mr. Raymond Heux and Mrs Dolores Laga. - Teaching Career I graduated and worked as a Physical Education and Biology teacher in the early eighties. After having passed my gold test ice dance in Belgium, I have taught at Liedekerke, Brussels and Leuven. I have given several seminars in Leuven (Belgium), Davos (Switserland) and together with Peter Moormann in ‘s Hertogenbosch (Holland). - The "career woman" After 4 years of teaching sports, I wanted to do something else. Knowing 4 languages, I went into international trade and logistics which allowed me to reach a manager position in several companies. In 2005, together with Corey Lapaige, I defined complete new rules for the Belgian ice dance and created a new test structure.
